Huawei Technologies Mozambique Lda, is recruiting a Software Engineer, to be based in Maputo.

Software Engineer Position:

Founded in 1987, Huawei is a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices.

We are looking for fresh graduates, dynamic and proactive, with a desire to learn, to apply engineering principles and knowledge of programming languages to build software solutions for end users.

Responsibilities:

• As the frontline engineer of mobile payment system, respond to customer requirements in a timely manner, including issues handling and service requirements;
• Assist the customer in hardware installation, capacity expansion, network configuration, and emergency handling;
• Frontline contact interface for communicating with Huawei remote support center and R&D engineers.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Linux system;
• Be familiar with Oracle database;
• Familiar with banking system is a plus;
• Be proficient in English Language;
• Degree in Computer science, Software engineering or a related degree program.
