Job responsibilities
- Prepare weekly cash position and cashflow report.
- Prepare and process regular payment runs, ensuring correct authorization has been given for each payment.
- Monitor daily client remittances and record and apply to respective invoices using the ERP system, as well as submit a weekly updated aged AR and status report.
- Coordinate with stakeholders for effective debt collection.
- Ensure all entries posted to the ERP are accurate and recorded in a timely manner.
- Ensure all supporting documents are filed and the audit trail is clear for all transactions.
- Produce monthly payable, receivable and bank reconciliations including supporting schedules.
- Ensure documents are complete and data are reconciled.
Qualification and key competencies
- Degree in Accounting or Bachelor of Commerce with Specialization in Accounting or Industry Standard Qualifications in Accounting.
- Minimum of 3 years in large scale organization working in an international environment.
- English language fluency (written and oral).
- Experience using the finance module of an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics SL preferred).
- Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
- Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas).
