Servtec /SBM is recruiting for its client, candidates for Credit Controller positions based in Maputo.

Responsibilities

• Control customer accounts. Carry out the systematic lettering (or matching) of the existing movements and minimize the number of “open items” (documents to be lettered) and push the TM to get the missing information for matching.
• Provide support to customer account supervisors to fully understand the real credit situation and possibly detect/solve any gaps that has occurred;
• Support the Credit Control Manager in the preparation of reports, in the preparation of Credit Committee meetings, or in any other task that may prove necessary;
• Request quarterly customer balance confirmation and follow up;
• Reconciliation of customer accounts with the support of account supervisors, in the event of a discrepancy between the balance defended by the customer and that of SAP, support supervisors in interpreting the charts and identifying the difference;
• Regularization of customer movements if necessary;
• Send statements to account supervisors and/or customers if necessary to resolve outstanding issues and follow up;
• Maintain and update the list of bank guarantees received from customers, sending alerts whenever they approach their end date or are not renewed in a timely manner;
• Support in the customer cash collection process by sending monthly statement, perform reconciliation and cash collection of top 10 customers of each segment;
• Ensure the timely posting of bounced checks in SAP and do follow-up until regularization;
• Support the TM on the customer accounts reconciliation
• econciliation of Guichet Unique (GU-BO) transactions;

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Economy or Management (accounting, management, credit control, economics);
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial area;
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
• Ability to work in team;
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Power point, Word, etc);
• Rigor and high analytical capacity;
• Fluent in Portuguese and English;
• Knowledge of SAP, in particular the FI module;
• Good communication skills
