ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is a permanent full-time position.

• As a Superintendent Production Execution Baking Furnace, you will be responsible to Manage the execution of plant activities in a manner that safely achieves the Department Business Plans and key imperative;
• Reporting to the Carbon Manager the incumbent is responsible to lead and coach the team of Supervisors. Interact with key service providers to achieve the guarantee that all employees go home safely. Mandate production targets to ensure compliance to operating processes and standards to achieve Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Cost, Volume and Quality priorities.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Coordinates and guides Supervisors in the execution of production targets;
• Monitors expectations, understanding and application of Production Execution processes within the team to support compliance with local requirements and Polices, Standards and Procedures;
• Interacts with the Superintendent PC&I to ensure alignment and adherence to production processes and standards;
• Build cross-functional relationships with the Operational sub-functions to support the delivery of production targets;
• Ensure the area of service is positioned to overcome the varying technical challenges through the implementation of effective Maintenance Systems (planned, corrective and predictive) enabling the accomplishment of short and long-term goals and objectives;
• Recommend improvement initiatives in existing processes, practices and systems;
• Monitor the allocation of training resources for the effective operation of Production Execution.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Provide input for effective execution of the CAPEX within the sub-function;
• Ensure execution of production priorities of the sub-function;
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in leadership position;
• Minimum 5 years in a Leadership role in an Industrial environment preferable in Smelting Processing;
• Knowledge of Carbon process will be advantageous;
• Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English.

Qualifications for this role are:

• Degree in Engineering field.
