Our Client is a multinational company operating in the Oil & Gas sector.

FUNCTION

Reporting to the Social Performance Vice President, the main activities of the function are to oversee the implementation of relocation, compensation, and livelihood programs; report the implementation of the livelihoods programs against implementation plans, targets, timelines, and result indicators; perform systematic quality control/ assurance of relocation, compensation, and livelihood programs; support the implementation of livelihood programs by providing critically assessed data to implementation teams; assesses project performance to identify success factors and incorporates best practices into project work; monitors specific stages of projects/program implementation and establishes the research/evidence-based linkages/integration across programs; provide backstopping on field activities implemented by local project partners; ensure alignment of programmatic policy, processes, and procedures; record, monitor, and report the process of institutional memory.

Requisitos

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Development Studies, Economy or Socio-Economic Development, Business Administration, or another related field;
  • At least 4 years of experience in implementing and monitoring RAP (Relocation and Livelihoods programs);
  • Effective communication in Portuguese and English;
  • Mozambique Northern Languages proficiency will be an advantage;
  • Familiarity with global industry best practices for environmental and social performance, requirements, and guidelines;
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with communities and stakeholders.
